Needless to say that these last couple months away from updating you guys about my journey has been really busy to say the least. “Don’t Blink” Today our son is officially 4 weeks old. We went to Target a couple days ago, at the self-checkout, the associate took a peek at our baby and told me how cute he is, then she said “don’t blink”. Blood-related This passed week, my parents finally got a chance to meet my son. I had been waiting for that moment for more about a decade. I was so happy that my parents got to meet a grandson that both of my parents are blood-related to. I have a nephew(my half-brother’s son), but this is the first grandchild that my dad has had that isn’t through marriage. Patience Is Key Having our son home with us has been somewhat of an adjustment. At first, it was the sleepless nights, getting used to him, learning his personality and habits, etc, now I’m learning something new, how to be patient.
